RTRS:Euro rises to one-month high versus British pound
(Reuters) - The euro rose to a one-month high against the British pound on Friday, buoyed by a drop in yields on peripheral euro zone bonds after the European Central Bank took bold measures to stem the debt crisis.
The euro was up 0.4 percent at 79.63, equalling its peak struck on August 6. Near term resistance is seen at its 100-day moving average of 79.772 pence.
