RTRS:Asia-Pacific Crude-Robust demand lifts spot premiums
 
SINGAPORE, Sept 20 (Reuters) - The Asia-Pacific crude market
rose on Thursday with spot premiums for November light to medium
grades up by about $1.50 a barrel from the previous month as
firm refining margins buoyed demand.

* TENDERS
- Petronas sold two cargoes of November Tapis crude to oil
majors at premiums of above $4 a barrel to dated Brent, traders
said, up from a premium of about $3.50 a barrel in the previous
month.
The buyers will lift a 300,000-barrel cargo on Nov. 5-11 and
a 450,000-barrel cargo on Nov. 9-15.
- PV Oil has sold 200,000 barrels of Rang Dong crude to load
on Nov. 12-18 to Petrobras at slightly higher than $3 a barrel
above dated Brent, traders said, up from a premium of about $1
in the previous month.
- PV Oil may have sold a November Song Doc cargo to an oil
major at a premium of above $6 a barrel to dated Brent, traders
said, although this could not be verified.
- India's Bharat Petroleum Corp (BPCL) bought 2 million
barrels of sweet crude in a tender for November loading, traders
said.
The refiner bought 1 million barrels of Nemba from Chevron
and the same volume of Mellitah condensate from Morgan Stanley,
they said. This could not be verified.

* TRADES
- ExxonMobil sold its November Kutubu to Caltex Australia at
a premium of just below $1.50 a barrel to dated Brent, up from
the previous month.
- Itochu has resold two Chim Sao cargoes for November to
Taiyo Oil at premiums of above $5 a barrel to dated Brent.

* MARKET NEWS
- An electrical storm set fire to two naphtha storage tanks
at Venezuela's El Palito refinery on Wednesday, but the oil
minister said the facility continued to operate and that no one
had been hurt.
- Japan's customs-cleared liquefied natural gas imports fell
3 percent in August, the first year-on-year decline in 17 months
after last year's Fukushima nuclear crisis.
