Wheat for December delivery rose 11.50 cents to $8.91 a bushel; December corn rose 3.50 cents to $7.4950 a bushel; December oats added 0.25 cent to $3.7350 a bushel; while November soybeans rose 1.25 cent to $16.20 a bushel.
Beef and pork futures mostly rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
October live cattle was unchanged at $1.2575 a pound; October feeder cattle rose 0.18 cent to $1.4690 a pound; while October lean hogs rose 0.60 cent to 75.45 cents a pound.
