MW:Stock futures add to gains after jobless claims

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- U.S. stock-index futures advanced further Thursday after the government reported fewer-than-expected Americans filed for unemployment benefits last week. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average DJZ2 +0.36% were lately up 55 points at 13,323. Those for the S&P 500 index SPZ2 +0.49% added 7.2 points to 1,433.50. Futures for the Nasdaq 100 NDZ2 +0.56% climbed 16.5 points to 2,739.25.
