RTRS: Boliden CEO says metals prices harder than ever to predict
STOCKHOLM Oct 25 (Reuters) - It is more difficult than ever to predict where copper and zinc prices are going, the chief executive of metals miner and smelter Boliden said on Thursday.
Lennart Evrell said copper and zinc prices have held up this year because of supply issues and despite declining demand.
"If we look forward, the only thing you can say is that there could be significant price falls from these levels," Evrell said, speaking to Reuters after the company's third-quarter result.
"But the situation could continue as it is today, that the supply remains difficult and there is continued good growth in China because of continued inventory draw-downs."
