LONDON--The cost of borrowing dollars or euros for three months in the London interbank market was unchanged Wednesday, while the sterling rate declined.
Data from the British Bankers' Association showed the three-month dollar London Interbank Offered Rate, known as Libor, was 0.31275%, the same level as Tuesday.
The spread between the three-month dollar Libor and overnight index swaps, a barometer of market stress, narrowed to 15.8 basis points from 16.1 basis points Tuesday.
The euro rate was unmoved at 0.13286%, while the sterling rate fell to 0.52750% from 0.52813%.
