LONDON--The cost of borrowing dollars or sterling for three months in the London interbank market was unchanged Friday, while the euro rate declined.
Data from the British Bankers' Association showed the three-month dollar London Interbank Offered Rate, known as Libor, was 0.31275%, the same level as Thursday.
The spread between the three-month dollar Libor and overnight index swaps, a barometer of market stress, narrowed to 15.9 basis points from 16.0 basis points Thursday.
The sterling rate was unmoved at 0.52750%, while the euro rate fell to 0.13071% from 0.13214%.
