SYDNEY, Nov. 14 — The Australian dollar was almost half a U.S. cent higher on Wednesday on improved consumer sentiment and weakness in the greenback.
At the closing session, the Australian dollar was trading at 104.52 U.S. cents, up from 104.07 U.S. cents on Tuesday.
During the day, the local unit traded between 104.29 U.S. cents and 104.57 U.S. cents.
At 1700 local time, the Australian dollar was at 83.12 Japanese yen, up from Tuesday’s close of 82.49 yen, and at 82.16 euro cents, up from 82.07 euro cents.
