The eurozone economic sentiment survey results released at 5.00 am ET showed that the headline index rose to 85.7 in November, more than market expectations of 84.5. Consumer confidence remained unchanged at minus 26.9.
The euro paused its recent rally against its major rivals after the report. As of 5:04 am ET, the common currency was trading at 106.65 against the yen, 1.2982 against the dollar, 0.8105 against the pound and 1.2043 against the Swiss franc.
