BLBG:Pound Stays Stronger as Data Shows U.K. Construction Contracted
The pound stayed stronger against the euro and the dollar even as a report showed construction activity in the U.K. contracted at a faster pace than forecast last month.
The pound appreciated 0.5 percent to 86.48 pence per euro at 9:33 a.m. London time. Sterling rose 0.2 percent to $1.5722.
