RTTN: Dollar Steady Ahead Of US Weekly Jobless Claims Report
The Labor Department is scheduled to release its weekly jobless claims report for the week ended February 9th at 8:30 am ET. Economists expect claims to decline to 360,000 in the week from 366,000 in the previous week.
The US dollar held steady against its major rivals ahead of the report. As of 8:25 am ET, the greenback was trading at 1.5515 against the pound, 0.9222 against the Swiss franc, 93.37 against the yen and 1.3338 against the euro.
