ET:Rupee trades stronger on day; oil demand limits fall
Rupee trading stronger on the day at 54.80/81 versus its previous close of 54.92/93, hurt by a risk-on sentiment in global markets.
Domestic shares close up 0.6 per cent. Traders say oil demand from oil firms helping limit a further fall in the pair and was a key reason for its bounce back from the day's low of 54.6150.
The pair is seen holding in a 54.75 to 54.95 range in the rest of the session.
