Mumbai, Mar 06 (PTI) The US dollar ended cheaper against the rupee at 54.72/73 per dollar and the Pound Sterling also finished lower at Rs 82.64/66 per pound at the close of the Interbank Foreign Exchange Market (Forex) today.
