NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Treasurys gained on Tuesday, pushing yields lower, ahead of the Treasury Department's $32 billion auction of 3-year notes at 1 p.m. Eastern. Yields on the benchmark 10-year U.S. Treasury note 10_YEAR -1.26% fell 2 basis points to 2.04% in morning trade. Yields move inversely to prices and one basis point is one one-hundredth of a percentage point.
