MY:Crude oil price for Indian basket down 0.51% on May 21
The international crude oil price of Indian Basket Gas fell sharply to USD 101.98/per barrel (bbl) on May 21, 2013. This was lower than the price of USD 102.50/bbl prevailing on the previous trading day of May 20, 2013.
The crude oil price in rupee terms also increased at Rs 5,612.98 per bbl on 21.05.2013 as compared to Rs 5641.60 /bbl on May 20, 2013.
This was due to price increase in dollar terms. Rupee dollar exchange rate on May 21, 2013 at Rs 55.04/USD was same as previous trading day of May 20, 2013.
