SG:Nickel rises in futures trade on domestic demand
Economic Times reported that amid rising demand from alloy makers and a firming trend overseas, nickel prices moved up by INR 2.50 to INR 821 per kg in futures trading today as speculators enlarged positions.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, nickel for delivery in June rose INR 2.50, or 0.24%, to INR 821 per kg in business turnover of 854 lots.
Market analysts said besides strong demand from alloy makers at domestic spot markets, a firm global trend mainly led to rise in nickel prices at futures trade.
