BS:Base metals slip on global cues
 
Most of the base metals slipped at the non-ferrous metal market here today due to stockist selling amidst reduced demand from industrial users on the back of lower London Metal Exchange (LME) cues.

The industrial metals fell at the LME on investors selling amid cautiousness ahead of the crucial US labour report.

Tin and nickel slumped by Rs 10 per kg each to Rs 1,390 and Rs 970 from Thursday's closing level of Rs 1,400 and Rs 980. Copper sheet cutting dropped by Rs 7 per kg to Rs 463 from Rs 470.

Copper scrap heavy declined by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 478 from Rs 483. Copper cable scrap, copper armiture and copper wire bar all slid by Rs 4 per kg to Rs 486, Rs 469 and Rs 514 from Rs 490, Rs 473 and Rs 518, respectively.

Brass sheet cutting moved down by Rs 3 per kg to Rs 336 from Rs 339 and copper utensils scrap went down by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 445 from Rs 447.

Brass utensil scrap and aluminium utensils scrap softened by a rupee per kg each to Rs 327 and Rs 120.
