BS:Select base metals drop on stockists selling
 
Copper, brass and aluminium prices dropped at the non-ferrous metal market here today due to fresh selling by stockists amid reduced demand from industrial users.

While, copper utensils scrap moved up on good buying support from consuming industries.

Copper sheets cutting slumped by Rs 6 per kg to Rs 466 from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 472.

Copper scrap heavy and brass sheets cutting both declined by Rs 3 per kg each to Rs 480 and Rs 337 as against Rs 483 and Rs 340 previously.

Copper cable scrap, copper armiture, copper wire bar and brass utensils scrap all edged down by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 487, Rs 471, Rs 515 and Rs 327, respectively.

Aluminium ingots and aluminium utensils scrap eased by a rupee per kg each to Rs 143 and Rs 119.

However, copper utensils scrap gained by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 447 from Rs 445 yesterday.
