NEW DELHI: Copper prices fell by Rs 2 per kg on the local non-ferrous metal market today largely in line with a weak global trend.
Traders said sentiment in Copper remained bearish after the metal in global markets as concerns that demand from China, the largest user, will decline outweighed country's plans to reduce production capacity.
Meanwhile, copper for delivery in three months fell 0.6 per cent to USD 6,961 a tonne on the London Metal Exchange.
