Oil exports have ceased from Libya's port of Zawiya, the latest of several major oil export hubs that have shut down in recent weeks amid continuing unrest, an oil official said.
Earlier this week gunmen shut down the pipeline that fed the port, severing the link with the country's largest western oil fields.
Deputy Oil Minister Omar Shakmak told the Wall Street Journal that production stood at just 320,000 bpd, its lowest level since 2009.
The Zawiya has an export capacity of around 200,000 bpd, and Libya's other major oil export terminals also remain closed.
