ET:Copper trades higher on increased industrial demand
NEW DELHI: Copper prices rose by Rs 3 per kg on the local non-ferrous metals market on Friday on increased industrial demand.
Traders said increased industrial demand mainly led to rise in copper prices. In the national capital, copper mixed scrap rose by Rs 3 to Rs 435 per kg.
The following are today's metal rates per kg: Zinc ingot 117-123, nickel plate (4x4) 1,050-1,051 gun metal scrap 227, bell metal scrap 229, copper mixed scrap 435, chadri deshi 285.
Lead ingot 154, lead imported 152, aluminium ingots 148,sheet cutting 149, aluminium wire scrap 151 and aluminium utensils scrap 148.
