WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) - U.S. jobless claims are expected to fall to 335,000 in the week ended Oct. 26 from 350,000 in the prior week, according to economists polled by MarketWatch. The report comes out at 8:30 a.m. Eastern. Claims have been distorted in October by major processing delays in California and private-sector layoffs related to the government shutdown. That's made the report a less reliable indicator recently of labor-market trends.
