MY:India crude oil basket price fall 1.4% to USD 105.25 a barrel
The international crude oil price of Indian basket declined sharply 1.42% to USD 105.25 a barrel (bbl) on Nov. 4, 2013. This was lower than the price of USD 106.77/bbl which prevailed on the previous trading day of Nov. 1, 2013.
In rupee terms also, the crude oil price decreased to Rs 6,514.98 a bbl on Nov. 4, 2013 as compared to Rs 6,609.06/bbl on Nov. 1, 2013. This was due to fall in price in dollar terms.
Rupee-dollar exchange rate on Nov. 4, 2013 was Rs 61.90/USDas prevailed on previous trading day of Nov. 1, 2013.
