The 30-year bond 30_YEAR -0.21% yield fell half a basis point to 3.791%, and the 5-year note 5_YEAR -0.59% yield fell 1 basis point to 1.340%. New York Fed President William Dudley will speak at 12:15 p.m. Eastern; Philadelphia Fed President Charles Plosser speaks at 1:30 p.m.; and Minneapolis Fed President Narayana Kocherlakota will give a talk at 7:45 p.m. Federal Reserve Bank of Boston President Eric Rosengren spoke earlier in the day about the risks to financial stability posed by large international banks.
