MY:India crude oil basket price down marginally to USD 106.7 a barrel
The international crude oil price of Indian basket slightly down 0.09% to USD 106.71 a barrel (bbl) on Nov. 19, 2013. This was higher than the price of USD 106.81/bbl which prevailed on the previous trading day of Nov. 18, 2013.
In rupee terms also, the crude oil price declined to Rs 6,640.56 a bbl on Nov. 19, 2013 as compared to Rs 6,689.51 /bbl on Nov. 18, 2013. This was due to fall in price in dollar terms and also because of rupee appreciation.
Rupee-dollar exchange rate on Nov. 19, 2013 closed weaker at to Rs 62.23/USD against Rs 62.63/bbl on previous trading day of Nov. 18, 2013.
