The international crude oil price of Indian Basket marginally up 0.20% to USD 107.24 a barrel on Feb. 18, 2014. This was slightly higher than the price of USD 107.03 a bbl on previous trading day of Feb. 17, 2014.
In rupee terms also the crude oil of price Indian Basket went increased to Rs 6,661.75 a bbl on Feb. 18, 2014 as compared to Rs 6,630.51/bbl on Feb. 17, 2014. This was due to price rise in dollar terms and rupee depreciations which absorbed to a great extend the impact of the price rise in dollar terms.
Rupee closed weaker at Rs 62.12 USD on Feb. 18, 2014 against Rs 61.95/USD on Feb. 17, 2014.
