The international crude oil price of Indian Basket went down 0.35% to USD 106.95 a barrel (bbl) on Feb. 26, 2014. This was lower than the price of USD 107.35 a bbl on previous trading day of Feb. 25, 2014.
In rupee terms also, the price of Indian Basket declined to Rs 6,624.48 a bbl on Feb. 26, 2014 as compared to Rs 6,653.55 a bbl on Feb. 245 2014. This was due to fall in price in dollar terms and rupee appreciation.
Rupee closed slightly stronger at Rs 61.94 a USD on Feb. 26, 2014 as against Rs 61.98 a US dollar on previous trading of Feb. 25, 2014.
