The international crude oil price of Indian Basket went down 0.33% to USD 105.46 a barrel (bbl) on Mar. 10, 2014. This was lower than the price of USD 105.81 a bbl on previous trading day of Mar. 7, 2014.
In rupee terms also, the price of Indian Basket increased to Rs 6,454.15 a bbl on Mar. 10, 2014 as compared to Rs 6,453.35 a bbl on Mar. 7, 2014. This was due to increase in price in dollar terms and helped by the marginal rupee depreciation.
Rupee closed stronger at Rs 61.20 a USD on Mar. 10, 2014 as against Rs 60.99 a US dollar on previous trading of Mar. 7, 2014.
