BRUSSELS (Alliance News) - The US consumer price inflation, building permits and housing starts data for February are due at 8:30 am ET Tuesday. Ahead of these reports, the greenback showed mixed trading against other major currencies. While the greenback held steady against the yen, it eased from early highs against the rest of major currencies.
The greenback was worth 1.3928 against the euro, 0.8732 against the franc, 101.59 against the yen and 1.6622 against the pound as of 8:25 am ET.
