Eurostat is set to release flash Eurozone inflation figures for March at 5.00 am ET Monday. Inflation is expected to ease to 0.6 percent in March from 0.7 percent in February.
Before the data, the euro showed mixed trading against other major currencies. While the euro held steady against the franc, it rose against the yen. Against the pound and the greenback, the euro eased from early highs.
As of 4:55 am ET, the euro was worth 1.3749 against the greenback, 1.2199 against the franc, 0.8266 against the pound and 141.92 against the yen.
