U.S. markets are weaker this morning as stocks try to finish another week with gains. The S&P 500 is off 0.09% and the Dow is down 0.05%.
Asian markets were mixed Friday as Japanese stocks finished a strong week. The Nikkei was up 1.13% while the Mumbai Sensex was down 0.55%.
In Europe markets are down after German business confidence fell short of expectations. The FTSE is down 0.08%, and the German DAX is down 0.35%.
Energy futures are mixed today. The West Texas Intermediate crude oil price per barrel is $102.03, down $0.04 and natural gas is down one penny. Metals prices are moving up this morning. Gold is up $4.30, and platinum is up $2.80. The Dollar is up versus both the Euro and the Yen.
The Royal Bank of Scotland Group plc ( RBS ), Qlik Technologies, Inc. ( QLIK ), HomeAway, Inc. ( AWAY ), are up today. WellCare Health Plans, Inc. ( WCG ), Maxim Integrated Products, Inc. ( MXIM ), and Amazon.com Inc. (AMZN) are down.
