NT: Global crude oil price of Indian basket rises to $ 95.43/bbl
The international crude oil price of the Indian basket, as computed today by the Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, rose to $ 95.43 per barrel (bbl) on 22.09.2014.
This was higher than the price of $ 95.35 per bbl on the previous publishing day of 19.09.2014, an official press release said.
In rupee terms, the price of the Indian basket increased to Rs 5801.19 per bbl on 22.09.2014 as compared to Rs 5798.23 per bbl on 19.09.2014.
The rupee closed stronger at Rs 60.79 per US$ on 22.09.2014 as against Rs 60.81 per US$ on 19.09.2014, the release added.
