ECM: Swiss franc hits three week low versus euro, talk of SNB intervention swirls
LONDON: The Swiss franc fell to its lowest in three weeks against the euro on Tuesday, amid speculation that the Swiss National Bank may be intervening to weaken the franc and buying euros.
The amount of cash commercial banks hold with the Swiss National Bank hit the highest on record last week - when the franc marked its biggest fall in two months - suggesting the central bank may have intervened in the market.
