MW: Euro back below $1.09 after existing-home sales
The dollar strengthened Wednesday after the National Association of Realtors reported that sales of existing homes in the U.S. rose 3.2% in June, the fastest pace since February 2007. The dollar USDJPY, +0.14% rose to 124.05 yen, from 123.90 yen ahead of the report. Meanwhile, the euro traded at $1.0885 EURUSD, -0.4480% from $1.0910.
