BRUSSELS (Alliance News) - After the release of US jobless claims data for the week ended August 27 at 8:30 am ET Thursday, the greenback advanced against the other major currencies.
The greenback was trading at 1.1138 against the euro, 1.3255 against the pound, 0.9859 against the franc and 103.82 against the yen around 8:31 am ET.
