INV: Euro falls on Deutsche Bank jitters as European banks suffer
Investing.com – The euro fell Friday against major currencies on bank concerns.
The euro was down 0.32% at $1.1183 at 04:30 ET. The euro index was down 0.28%.
European bank stocks were sharply lower led by Deutsche Bank (DE:DBKGn) and Commerzbank (DE:CBKG).
Some 10 hedge funds have reportedly reduced their exposure to Deutsche Bank.
